We are planning a 7 day dive trip to Egypt on a Liveaboard to complete the “Simply the Best” Itinerary. We will depart on London on Thu 11 Nov 21 and transfer to the Liveaboard upon arrival at the airport. We will be collected at the airport and then we will make our way to Port Ghalib in Marsa Alam. We will then board the liveaboard and complete 6 days diving prior to returning to Port Ghalib. We will then transfer back to Hurghada where we will stay over night in a hotel prior to departing Egypt for London the following day on 19 Nov 21.

This liveaboard has fantastic facilities and is a great boat to spend a week diving on. The diving will also be fantastic as we will be in the shark season. The diving conditions will be excellent this time of year.

This itinerary is called “Simply the Best” for a reason and includes some stunning dive locations. The dive conditions this time of year will be stunning and the marine life is expected to be amazing due to the lack of diving in the area recently. We will have a good sized group for this trip so you will want to move fast to confirm your interest and space on the trip.

It is recommended that all divers have logged in the region of 30 dives to join this trip. This will be due to the fact that most dives will be going to depth and drift diving in unpredictable and occasionally strong currents. We will be diving the best sites this area has to offer. If you are PADI Open Water we recommend that you complete your PADI Advanced Course either before or during the trip.

The “Simply the Best” Itinerary will include the Brother Islands, Deadalus Reef and Elphinstone.

Flights
Currently direct flights are available and more flights will open up as the travel industry returns to normal. We will outline the flight options on this page once they have been determined. The price could be in the region of £350.00 although likely to be less. Once we have agreed the best flight options all RSVP divers will need to get confirmed availability first on the trip prior to booking flight. Only book flights once group leader provides confirmation and instructions to go ahead with the flight.

Dive Sites
Brother Islands
The Brother Islands are the pinnacles of two undersea mountains rising from the depths of the abyss. Part of the Marine Park Islands National Park, these islands offer stunning wall diving, with the walls being covered in soft corals and forests of gorgonians, creating a kaleidoscope of ever-changing colours.
Elphinstone
World famous offshore reef, Elphinstone is the jewel in our crown. Sheer walls and sometimes currents at exhilarating speeds make this one for advanced divers only but it will be one you remember.
Daedalus
Daedalus Reef is the most distant offshore reef in the Egyptian Red Sea. It is one of the most pristine dive sites in the Red Sea with schooling Hammerheads, Giant Trevally and Dogtooth Tuna.
